The main tasks of the State Unitary Enterprise «Television and Radio Channel «Toshkent» are:

- informing about socio-political, socio-economic and cultural life, and the other major events and activities taking place in the capital of Uzbekistan and Tashkent region of the public interest;

- preparation of programs dedicated to the effective organization of the activity of local authorities and self-government to address the vital socio-economic problems, to develop the capital of the country, to increase political and social activity of citizens, to protect their constitutional rights and freedoms; ;

- organization of information-humanitarian, educational, cultural-cognitive broadcasting by taking into account the interests of the multinational population of Tashkent and Tashkent region.
