The sound of the Namangan radio has sounded for the first time in Mulla Kirgiz medrese in the spring of 1932.

 

In the beginning of the activity the Namangan radio carried out the programs through the amplifier of mark " EKL-5" with 4 lamps capacity of 50 points. The beginning of creation of technical base of the Namangan radio name a direction from Tashkent in 1955 of the tape recorder such as "Magician - 7-8". All parts of this tape recorder, hanging more than 100 kg , have been made of metal. In 1957 the reporting from area with use of the tape recorder for the first time has been prepared. At the end of the last century the regional committee by radio to an announcement has been equipped with the board, and tape recorders of manufacture of Hungary and Russia . Correspondents used tape recorders " Reporters - 5 ", "Reporter - 6", "Reporter - 7" manufacture of Hungary .

In 1932 the Namangan radio carried out programs to the form of the radio newspaper. In 1934 local radio programs broadcasting in the Uzbek and Russian languages In 1986 for regional radio the modern two floor building has been constructed. The first TV program of the Namangan regional TV has been prepared in studio of regional radio and transferred to an ether on October, 18, 1990. At this time tv programs of the Namangan TV basically have consisted from news and music programs. TV programs prepared with the help of PTS manufacture of Lithuania and Russia, and also the equipment made in Russia "Staff - 3", " ВМ-18" , and Japanese firms " Fishers ", " Philips" were reproduced through the video recorder, hung up from a TV tower in territory of the Andijan area.

 

Radio “ Oltin zamin ” (“ The Gold ground”), located in the radio house and prophesying on wave FM-103,6, also has studio for a sound recording and separate studio for an ether.
