TV and Radio Company of the Samarkand region

Radio of Uzbekistan started working on February, 11, 1927 in Samarkand city. This date can be counted as the beginning day of work of the Samarkand radio. Since November, 9, 1927 radio programs have started to be given out in an ether on a regular basis.

 

During the period when Samarkand was the capital of our republic (1924-1930), employees of radio worked in the centre of the city in Amir Temur street (former factory) and shined the events in socially economic and cultural life of republic.

 

At the end of 40th and beginning of 50th years of the last century tape recorders of type «POPPY–8» have been delivered to the regional broadcasting committee for the first time. These tape recorders in weight almost 70 kgs have created an opportunity of opening of the new channel and improvement of quality of programs. Since 1958 the direct exit programs in an ether of the Samarkand regional radio has been organized.

 

Introduction in build the television center in Tashkent at the end of 1956 became the big event in cultural life of republic. In 1957 between Tashkent and Samarkand radio relay communication has been established. It has created an opportunity of translation of radio programs and for Samarkand from the Tashkent television centre.

 

The first TV programs have been prepared by creative collective in 1989. During this period TV programs about social and economic and cultural life of area were presented to spectators from the centre of transfer to an ether of radio and TV programs “ Chuponota” by means of simple video recorders. In 1991 after purchase of the equipment for installation and distribution in an ether, since June 6 the regional TV began to give out in an ether programs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in volume of 3 hours in a week.

 

Programs prepared by means of the video recorder of manufacture of Russia STAFF - 103 SS and electronics VM-12, audiotape recorder MEZ-109, video camera "Panasonic" SVHS-F70, synchronizer STS-4.

 

Now in a regional TV and Radio Company the TV, radio, radio channel FM-105.2, promotional department and a technical department (the organizational structure is applied) function.

Today the regional TV gives out in an ether various programs on social and economic and cultural subjects in volume of 7 hours per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) on TV channel UzTV - 2.

 

Programs of the channel of TV and Radio Company of the Samarkand area gives in an ether daily from 19:00 duration 4, 5 hours. Cultural, entertaining programs, concerts, video films, serials are included in the program.

 

Regional radio prophesies daily in volume of 1 hour and 30 minutes. programs prepare in the Uzbek, Russian and Tadjik languages. In edition creative and technical workers in quantity of 24 persons. Programs are given out in an ether daily from 15:00, till 18:00.

 

Programs of regional radio are given out in an ether on waves АМ (MW) - 1539 кГц and ChM (UKV ) 4,45 m.

 

On March, 21, 2003 at TV and Radio Company of the Samarkand area radio channel FM 105,2 " Jaxon" ("World") is formed. Programs are given out in an ether from 7:00 till 21:00 daily. Edition prepares for transfers on the basis of the weekly program.

 

The radio program basically will consist of news and the entertaining programs prepared on the basis of various, written sources and letters of radio listeners.

The promotional department of TV and Radio Company of the Samarkand area is engaged in strengthening of material resources of the company, preparation of various advertising rollers, drawing up of contracts with the enterprises the organizations.

 

Employees of a technical department take of a measure for improvement of quality of TV programs, work on manufacture of shootings, product of installation and transfer to an ether.

Now in the company 2 television studios and 2 radio studios operate. The television studio is equipped with the modern TV equipment of manufacture of Germany (firm " BFE "), video tape recorders " Panasonic" , TVs " LG ", "SAMSUNG", "JVC", "GOLDSTAR", a video mixer "VIDEONIKS", pass disks « SONY MDS-GE330 », audio mixers EVRORAK VB-1604, GRAND 256 DSP. The radio studio is equipped with 3 advanced computers, 3 pass disks, 2 control panels, 2 microphones and a hearing aid.

 

The cover zone of transfers of TV makes 150-160 kms on radius. The population of area Pendjikent of the Republic of Tadjikistan also has an opportunity to see programs of regional TV. Letters testify to it and the messages received from this area. Proceeding from this, in some programs in Tadjik language tells about life of Pendjikent area and its population.

Two years as the regional TV has established mutual cooperation with TV " Ayna" of province Juzjon of Afghanistan. Attitudes of cooperation went in a practical plane. On regional TV have passed in an ether the series of programs devoted to northern provinces of Afghanistan .
